Fresh Food Resources
Monthly Food Markets
Through our partnership with Kaizen Food Rescue, our parent volunteers provide fresh food markets the first Thursday of each month.
APS Crawford Family Food Center
Utilizing the Food Clinic model which was adopted in partnership with Children's Hospital Colorado, the Family Food Center is designed to function as a food pantry with an emphasis on choice, culturally relevant foods, and fresh, locally sourced goods.
The Family Food Center supports the belief that improved nutrition directly contributes to better academic performance. Through appointments, Crawford families can receive fresh produce, dairy and cooking staples.

Other Food Resources
Vision & Dental Screenings
- Eye Love Care: Offers free, on-site comprehensive vision exams to students once a year, and provides free glasses to students who need them, regardless of insurance.
- Children’s Hospital: Offers free dental screenings to all students and will follow up with referrals as needed. Crawford preschool families also participate in the 2-gen Brush, Book, Bed program, a pediatrician-recommended nighttime routine to support oral health, early literacy and the development of children.
Vaccine Clinics
Ensuring that your child is compliant with required school vaccines is crucial for preventing the spread of preventable diseases, protecting vulnerable students and staff, and minimizing illness-related school absences and closures.
