Crawford Leaders
International KidSuccess, Jewish Family Service and Crawford Elementary School Faculty have developed a culturally based orientation program for international students, called Crawford Leaders. The project includes a group of culturally and linguistically diverse elementary school students who have been trained to help new students to the school and to answer common initial school questions. Crawford Leaders will act as "friends" to their newly-arrived peers by welcoming them to the school, providing a school tour, clarifying expectations, and explaining rules in their native language.
